Not long ago I shared my Amba Sauce recipe with you, this is Part 2 of the arabic night and I will tell you my secret Hummus recipe. Well, there is not much secret about it, Hummus recipes are fairly straight forward in my opinion. Of course you can give it a little twist and add different flavours if you wish, i.e. dill, horseradish or sun-dried tomatoes but I love my hummus plain and simple.

Here some pictures from my Arabic Night, of course I made everyone sit on the floor and eat with their hands, there is no way around that if you are invited to such a night by me.

So here is my personal favourite under the hummus recipes. It is quick and super easy, probably quicker to make than actually going to the store to buy one!  However, I do like to buy some different flavours every now and then, I admit! What is your favourite hummus flavour?

This is a basic recipe for simple hummus, that scores with a perfect balance of flavours and is super easy to make. Perfect as an appetizer or just as a side dish. You can add other spices or flavours if you want to give it a twist, you might just have to balance the consistency with adding some water if it is to thick or some extra chickpeas if it is to liquid. I recommend to stick to this recipe and enjoy it in all its pure glory!
